SHIFT HAPPENED: What’s Changed, What Hasn’t, & How Your Brand Can Thrive
Amanda Schneider, Founder & President, ThinkLab

There have been profound shifts in the way business is done in this new hybrid era, and our traditionally analog industry is struggling to balance investments in the Physical-Digital Journey. Join ThinkLab as we explore data around the impact to the interior design industry and harness the silver linings of recent shifts through 5 Specifier Personas that will help your brand to scale your reps’ time, prioritize your investments, and personalize the customer experience.

Economy. Real Estate. Occupancy. Where Are We Headed?
Michael Hanson, Executive Director & Global Economist, JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Sarah Bouzarouata, Senior Research Manager, JLL
Dan Kirschner, Global Head of Growth Strategy & Business Development, JLL

Michael believes the US economy is more resilient than many people think – and will explain why this creates a big challenge for the Fed as it tries to guide to a soft-ish landing. Dan and Sarah will discuss the latest data on real estate markets and trends in occupancy, from both a research and a business lens.

Workplace of Tomorrow: Insights from Future Forum and MillerKnoll
Mark Catchlove, Director, Global Insight Group, MillerKnoll

Far from a trend, the hybrid work phenomenon is upending long-held practices relative to work and workplace design. Rapidly evolving expectations of workers and organizational leaders are highlighting opportunities to create more equitable experiences, build more inclusive spaces, and foster a greater sense of belonging for all. Backed by new data from Future Forum—an interdisciplinary future-of-work consortium co-founded by Slack, Boston Consulting Group, Management Leadership for Tomorrow, and MillerKnoll—Mark will share insights on this global shift and touch upon the roles that textiles can play.

All the Rage! Hospitality’s Hip Influence in Every Segment of Design
Cindy Allen, Editor-in-Chief, Interior Design

There is no other category in design these days that is as pervasive—and persuasive—as the hospitality industry right now. Join Cindy Allen, Editor-in-Chief of Interior Design, as she spans the globe sharing the latest hospitality trends—that are sure to inspire!—as well as projects from other market segments you’d swear are hospitality, but are anything but!

Environmental Product Declarations: The Ins & Outs
Cara Vought, Technical Manager, Sustainable Solutions Corporation

Many large A&D firms are setting carbon neutrality goals or requiring specific carbon data from product manufacturers that can be a challenge to calculate. They might ask for a carbon footprint or an EPD or a Life Cycle Assessment. Cara will navigate the market drivers behind these requests, as well as explain EPDs, LCAs, PCRs, surrounding standards, and third-party verifications. Learn how organizations can benefit from leveraging the information from an LCA to innovate in product development and manufacturing.

Strategy in a World of Disruption
Shawn Kanungo, Innovation Strategist, Partner, Queen & Rook

The business world has fundamentally changed forever. The growth and adoption of new technologies is occurring at a dizzying pace. Customer and employee expectations have been pushed forward 10 years due to the pandemic. We are now looking for organizations to be fearless in a changing world. These drivers are forcing everyone to reimagine their entire organizations. How do we survive? How do we disrupt ourselves before someone else does? How do we deliver better experiences to our clients, customers, and teams? Today, we need to be bold, brave and experimental. In this awe-inspiring talk, Shawn provides an optimistic roadmap for the future. He explores how we can take unexpected approaches to innovation to remain competitive and relevant.
