Overview

The Association for Contract Textiles was founded in 1985 as a not-for-profit professional trade association to address a variety of issues related to contract fabrics. Member companies and individuals are involved in the design, development, production, promotion and application of textiles for commercial environments.

Mission & Goals

ACT’s mission is to promote the value of contract textiles.

Establish and promote voluntary performance and environmental guidelines

Serve as the definitive resource for contract textile information and education

Monitor and report legislation affecting our industry and create lobbying efforts where necessary

Manufacturers that are engaged in the production of interior furnishing products normally marketed on a contract basis.

Interact 2023: The definitive conference on contract textiles. This one-day event for individuals of ACT member companies will be packed with informative sessions about industry related topics and trends—benefiting textile designers, technicians, sales reps, executives and other ACT members throughout the supply chain.
